Hamp Court Palace Taipei

A really lovely hotel and relaxing stay. I had the deluxe room on floor 15. It was spacious and quiet. The balcony was a nice touch for fresh air and views. The gym was small, but I had it to myself both times I used it. The laundry machines on the 3rd floor were very convenient. You can purchase laundry pods from the front desk for 30NT. The wash cycle was 70NT (37 min), and the dryer was 50NT (40 min). The machines only accept coins. Easy 8 min walk to Songjiang Nanjing MRT. Two 7 Eleven stores on either side of the hotel. The breakfast was 499NT, and while convenient, I didn’t enjoy it as much as other hotel breakfasts in Taipei. There weren’t many options. There are wonderful cafes nearby.

Nicer hotel situated in the middle of Taipei (it is unfortunately in the middle of two metro stations, but there are plenty of bus stops nearby). Rooms and restrooms were big, beds were comfortable, and staff was incredibly helpful. If you order there is a delivery robot that brings it straight to your room. Laundry room onsite is convenient. TV can connect to YouTube/Netflix.

A little on the pricey side, considering that its location is not as nearly as convenient as other cheaper options. There are no major touristy/shopping things to do in this area, so you will have to travel a tiny bit to explore.

The room was spacious and despite having a bit of a more traditional feel, the property was well maintained. We also appreciated the smart TV which allowed for streaming services and the washer/dryer down the hall came in handy.

We had a small maintenance issue straight away regarding a broken door to the bathroom but the staff were able to resolve the issue quickly.
