Spark Hotel - MRT Queen Sirikit - SHA Extra Plus Certified

no breakfast provided, think it was an extra cost. location near MRT blue line underground, easy walk. good nearby restaurants and convenience stores. room had a kettle, relatively quiet at night, clean, friendly staff. near to the lovely benchakriti park, bed lights, good shower / toilet room

smell of cannabis at reception from adjacent shop. off puttingly long list of monetary penalties for seemingly minor infringements, such as stains on sheets. glaring LED light from air conditioner at night. room was very small, only access to double bed was on 1 side. window with blinds to shower / toilet adjacent to bed so anyone using it did light up the bed. the only socket for the kettle was on a tiny shelf next to the bed, which made boiling water potentially hazardous ... there were other sockets but none fitted the kettle plug. all thai beds are very firm, this was no exception. noisy dehumidifier under the bed. there was a fridge but the door was fixed at an angle so it never got cold. the room safe did not work according to the instructions ... take valuables with you

Paid for an extra night and wasn’t allowed to stay due to error on their card machine

The room was very comfy even though it was small. And Tha staff very kind.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I just wish it was near by of the main part of the city like the tourist part.
