Ormidale Hotel

Nice clean bathroom, staff were wonderful and food amazing💯. Loved the history about the building!

Mould on the windows, bed too small for 2 adults.

Friendly welcoming staff. Room was clean, warm and cosy. Lots of drawers and cupboards to store belongings. Powerful hot shower, just what I needed after hillwalking. Great breakfast and dinner. Some days I left before breakfast time and they arranged me a filling packed lunch instead. Really enjoyed my stay here.

The hotel is lovely, clean, good evening meals, price point outstanding, bar staff very friendly. Overall a great experience.

Breakfast is a bit underwhelming. Despite claiming everything being made fresh and having an extensive à la carte menu - the breakfast staff member became visibly angry bordering on rude at bespoke requests. Complaining that we were ordering “too many” of some items, and that they would have to “cook more” - not really ideal. And a total departure from the service in the main bar. Not the fault of the hotel but the town of Brodick appears to be dying. On maps and in previous years this would’ve been a premium location but every other food and drink option appears to be closed outright, become takeaway only or moved to Lamlash. Fine if you are driving - not if you’re hoping to walk
