We had an excellent stay on this trip. The accommodations were spacious and nicely outfitted with a gorgeous view. The hosts were fantastic to work with. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful location on the lake. It is right across from the dam. Really great fishing or just sitting watching the fish jump. Lots of room very comfortable bed. Great outside seating areas. Very friendly family host very attentive to every need or question. Would highly recommend this for a nice getaway. It was so convenient to have kayaks and canoes ready for our use at any time. Be advised that there are steps down to the lake. We were very able to do it but at Lake Lure that usually is the norm.

Adorable place directly on the lake! The owners and their pups are super sweet and we really enjoyed the laid back environment. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I had a very relaxing time. We did enjoy ourselves! The apartment is just the right size. However the pictures online are a little misleading. The boathouse on the lake with dockside chairs were nothing like in the pictures. The furniture on the dock/pier was not clean or organized at all. Also there are several stairs to climb to the bungalow/apartment. So if you have back or knee pain/issues you may need to look elsewhere. This was my fault but I was not aware the bungalow was attached to the owners main house. Other than the abundance of stairs and unorganized pier/deck, and attached main house we had a nice time.
