Sea Edge Beachside Hotel

Incredible location, modern, good value, lovely local soaps. Loved the playground and kids activities.

A little tricky finding the room at night. More obvious signs and room numbers would be handy (traveling with kids at night made it difficult). A nice throw blanket in the living room would make it more cozy. Would have been nice if the lobby had some dairy free creamer for coffee.

Ver clean and well kept up. Lovely bay view and walking path. We had fun playing the included mini golf! Friendly reception

It was super quiet and peaceful. Great views of the ocean. Nice area around the gas fire tables.

The best thing about the hotel was its location. My wife and I selected it because of that.

Even though the property was renovated,it is a far cry from being a 4 or 5 star hotel. A lot of things were not working or installed properly, like the bedside lamp stopped working after a day. The kitchenette faucet was loose and kept moving when using. The shower was impossible to use without either getting burned or shocked by cold water. The sink was very high, even for me and I am 6 ft tall. Not very practical at all. Of the two beds we had one was new but the other one must have been an old clunky coil mattress that made noise everytime you sat on it or turned over and it was hard and very uncomfortable. None of the 8 pillows we had were any good. The floor from upstairs was very crikey and if you have people staying there that like to get up at 6:30 in the morning your quiet sleeping time is over.  For the $ 300 bucks a night I paid I expected a lot better. I will not be back.
