The location was central to most of what we wanted to see in Edinburgh. The room was neat and orderly, the bathroom was in the room and worked well. The property let us leave our luggage there early before check in, which helped immensely as we arrived hours before check in. The price was well matched to the accommodation.
It’s at the end of an alley where trash bins are located. The end of the street was very dirty, lots of trash piled up around the area. The shower isn’t full enclosed, it’s one of those open concepts with a half door, which was odd and got water all over the floor. The window was open upon arrival, which didn’t seem necessary.

Great comfortable beds. The room is very quiet even though we were above the Irish pub. Lovely big bathroom. The fan was very nice in August. A nice central area especially for the fringe. A very quick response to questions.
Security is not as strong. Some of the doors couldn't lock and stayed constantly open. The room where the luggage could be stored was not very secure.
