For a hostel, the room was incredible. We had our own bathroom (all abilities) which was huge. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, just a 3 minute walk to the train station.

A very popular place to stay in Edinburgh.
Good breakfast for 5 pounds.

Location although there were a lot of stairs or hill climbs involved either side of the RM
Several Toilet weren’t flushing. Couple of shower door latches were hard to latch or had shower heads that sprayed more water out of shower area than in it soaking everything. Door to our pod didn’t close without a bit of a nudge . I guess that why some in our pod just slammed it at all hours

The staff at the reception are very decent and helpful. The breakfast is good. However, chicken and/or fish may be added. We do not take pork or beef. The place is well-connected to other places.
There is no dustbin for discarding toilet paper. Rooms are suffocating, and there is no ventilation. The rooms smell.
