Close to town. Clean and tidy. Good kitchen facilities. Cozy bed.
The shower was dangerously hot or freezing cold even on the setting they recommended. Could do with more seating.

This was one of the best hostels I’ve stayed. The staff is fantastic, welcoming and helpful. The place is super clean! I stayed for one week and saw them fully cleaning the rooms everyday, and the bathrooms 4x/day. The location also can’t be better. 10/10!!
The stairs are a challenge for people with mobility issues or with heavy luggage, but otherwise manageable and worth it the stay.

The team here does an amazing job of keeping the hostel spotless and tidy, and everyone I spoke to was really helpful and welcoming. It’s a great little island of peace in a remarkably central location! This has become my go-to spot for any Edinburgh visit.
I stayed in a 12-bed dorm with triple bunks, as I booked last-minute and this was the only space available. The beds themselves are very comfy, and the duvets are lovely and fluffy, but the narrow space above each bed made it a bit awkward to manoeuvre in and out of bed. It’s a bit too tight to sit up, so it’s a bit of a trick to get settled at night. But overall, for the price, can’t complain!

Location was great. Cleanliness is good.
They pack the 3 level bunks into the room. There's maybe a meter of space between the mattress and the roof and if there is someone snoring or making noise in the night/morning, it feels like it's right next to your face, which it probably is.
