Edinburgh Central Accommodation

The location was great, with easy access to the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the communication was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, and the explanations about the hostel and its facilities were clear. Breakfast was decent, and the Scottish breakfast was tasty.

There was a significant amount of visible mould in the bathroom ventilation area, which looked unpleasant and needs proper cleaning. The ventilation setup seems to contribute to the problem, so it should be addressed. The towel-handling process was also concerning from a hygiene perspective. The receptionist handled the towels with their bare hands, placed them on a desk near a computer, and then handed them to me. This did not feel sanitary. Breakfast options were somewhat limited, with no fresh vegetables and no hot water available for making tea. Considering the limited variety and these issues, the accommodation felt a little overpriced.

The staff were amazing, the room was very clean, and the hostel was in a very central location. Everything was perfect! I will definitely stay here every time I visit Scotland.

The stuff was very friendly, you have access to a big kitchen where you can warm precooked food, bought in a shop or even cook yourself. The breakfast was nice and for reasonable price The WiFi was good The location is really good as well

The shower was a bit inconvenient—essentially a cabin with a door where you have to take your towel inside with you—but it wasn't a major issue at all.

Clean room and excellent shower

One towel for 3 days, staff seemed a bit ignorant and very, very loud guest who woke me up at 4 am at night
