Sonesta Columbus Downtown

Convenient location, friendly staff, nice rooms. We paid using the QR code at the hotel valet desk, it didn’t register. The hotel manager fixed it. When going to leave the garage, both exit machines stopped working and multiple cars were stuck inside. Thankfully a hotel employee fixed it after a while and we could leave. I’d stay here again, but I’d probably park elsewhere.

I didn't like that there was not nicer couches in the lofts and no plane to put your luggage other than one small closet… they have more desks and dressers at a Hampden Inn. Food was much better than the Hyatt across the street! Food was fabulous!

My wife and I had a room in their loft building — which is a converted wallpaper building from a long time ago. This is very different from the main building, so be aware of this when making a reservation here. Room was spacious and bathroom was very nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating — especially the teams working the bar and breakfast. While our room was clean, the floor in the hallways needed a thorough cleaning. Also, the elevators in the loft building didn’t respond to the call button when we went to use them. Rather than taking a chance at getting stuck, we used the elevators in the main building and then walked down the hallway that connected the two buildings. Not a big deal — but the staff indicated that this had happened before.
