Hotel URH Sitges Playa

Beautiful hotel directly on the beach. Clean and refreshing pool surrounded by a lovely garden and sitting area. The attached restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating with a fresh menu and plenty of people (and dog) watching along the beachfront promenade. Staff were all very helpful and polite. Our room was updated, the king bed was very comfortable with a selection of pillows. We enjoyed our balcony view of the Mediterranean and were impressed by the sound quality of the french doors leading to it, keeping night time noise out (or leave it open to hear the crashing of the waves). The hotel is within walking distance to Sitges old town with an abundance of shops and eateries in beautiful, historic buildings. Overall, Sitges is a refreshing and welcome retreat from the crowds of Barcelona, yet just a 45 minute train ride away

We had a terrible experience at a luxury hotel in Sitges that we ended up canceling because the staff and experience was so bad. Went to this hotel instead and couldn’t have been happier with the choice. The staff were so kind and helpful and informative. They went above and beyond! The location was also significantly better for accessing the town where all the restaurants, museums, shops, and historical sites were right outside the door. Thank you to Sophie for helping us so much and being so kind!

The restaurant staff stole my heart with their attentiveness and serious cool under pressure when large groups arrived at unplanned times. I was a solo traveler, fresh off the Camino de Santiago, and I could not have picked a more perfect location by the Sea. The hotel staff were friendly and easy to work with. Housekeeping helped me with laundry the day I arrived. The food was exceptional. Safe to say…I’m a big fan ❤️

The staff was most helpful in restaurant and taxi services. The breakfast had a great variety of items and good coffees.
