Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland Willoughby

The best thing about our stay was the deep soak whirlpool tub in our king room! The room was comfortable and clean. Two of the reasons I booked this hotel was because they advertised a pool and a restaurant on site. Unfortunately, we didn't use the pool because it is pretty much in the lobby. They chose to have large open windows in the small pool room along the lobby wall. It wouldn't be so bad if they'd frost the windows or line the wall with plants. The "restaurant" (you order at the counter) was not open for some reason on the Tuesday night that we stayed. But there's an Applebee's next door and a steakhouse close by. The breakfast menu was limited and too pricey, so we had a great breakfast at Kliefelds in downtown Willoughby for a fraction of the cost.

Friendly staff

Rooms were clean with upscale amenities. I was disappointed breakfast was not included. If it was ai wouldn’t know how to source it. There was an ad in the elevator that seemed to suggest breakfast could be ordered, but it didn’t look like there were staff to make it happen. There might have been, but zi felt uncomfortable asking about it.
