Inn on St Ann

I came back to my hometown for a short visit and wanted a place where I could easily walk to downtown and the French Quarter. This hotel definitely delivered! Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I stayed in a full-size room with the bathroom a few steps up at the foot of the bed. The room had a safe and Keurig-style coffee (I didn't use either), plus bottled water and ice. The complimentary lobby coffee each morning was fresh and surprisingly tasty. The bathroom had refillable shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles that were empty when I arrived, so I used my own soap. I'm sure they would have refilled them if I had asked. The bathroom is small, especially the sink area for your personal item. This is a historic building with lots of old New Orleans charm, so don't expect a modern hotel. I stayed on the second floor, which required climbing a fairly steep staircase. There were also stairs to a third floor, though I'm not sure if there are guest rooms there. One thing to know: you'll need to call the posted phone number when you arrive since someone isn't normally at the front desk except during housekeeping hours. Overall, I felt safe, loved the walkable location, appreciated the friendly staff, and would definitely consider staying here again.

Wifi did not work. No signal in the rooms

such a cute little place to stay!
