I really enjoyed my stay here. It is very ideal for solo or couple travellers who aren't hiring a car as the location is incredibly central with sights restaurants and transfer pick ups all a few minutes walk away. It is very typical for a 3/4 star hotel with all necessities well met, a decent breakfast and friendly staff

Due to glitch in the reservation system, the hotel was overbook. We were transported by hotel's shuttle to their other property Hotel Quinta Mirabella. Beautiful hotel with excellent views. Every was perfect there.Little bit further from the centre of Funchal, but the hotel provided the shuttle few times per day. There was also bus stop around the corner - very convenient .

The hotel is very close to the city, therefore you have some traffic noise. But the distance is of course also nice - just view steps and you enter the city center!

Great location close to the mall and city center. Friendly helpful staff. I look forward to a future stay when I visit again. Thanks Maryluz for the great hospitality!
