Homeport Historic Bed & Breakfast/Inn c 1858

The nicest hosts and the most amazing breakfast. No AC and hall light on which seemed to effect my sleep. If you love antiques and a story this is the place for you

The friendly hosts and the elaborate, tasty breakfast were the highlights of our stay here. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower set-up on the clawfoot tub reminded us of our first home and were fine, but a grab bar to help getting out would be helpful. The gardens were pleasant. The outside of the building was a bit tired and worn looking; I'm sure upkeep on such a large, historic building is tough.

This is a truly exceptional place. Very well restored, spacious 19th century home. The hosts were fantastic.

Lovely hosts, breakfast was excellent, fun to stay at such a cool historic property with great stories, downtown easily accessible, close to reversal falls, great views outside and from upper room that we stayed in. Easy opportunities to meet other guests during breakfast. Room included antiques/relics/clippings that were interesting to explore. A little bit of old room smell that isn’t surprising at all for a house built in 1800s, and not unpleasant. We loved our stay and wished we had more time in this cool area.
