SpringHill Suites Philadelphia Valley Forge/King of Prussia

Nice staff, beautiful room

The staff was amazing and so helpful

This was our first time staying at this location. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby area smelled wonderful however there was an awful sour stench in the elevator area of the 2nd floor in which we stayed. The room (204) was nice and roomy and the additional room of the handicap amenity was a bonus, although we didn't require nor request a handicap room. The cleanliness of the room was slightly lacking. The carpet needs to be shampooed as there are visible stains. The closet door is misaligned and doesn't shut with a seal. The TV setup is odd and is not clearly visible to anyone using the bed nearest the window. There needs to be either a swivel stand or attached to the wall between the two beds. We didn't use any of the amenities as we were there for only one night.

The room was very clean and felt like a place we could truly relax in. However, I didn't like that the bathroom door was a sliding door that didn't lock. My other disappointment was that there was only one washer and dryer for the whole hotel.
