Hotel Orlovetz

Modern, spacious, clean room, fabulous view. Boutique spa, warm and inviting. Staff super nice.

I recently stayed at Hotel Orlovetz and overall had a good experience, but with some notable drawbacks. The hotel itself is great—the rooms are very clean, modern, and offer the best views you can get in Pamporovo. Waking up to those mountain views was definitely a highlight of the stay. The breakfast was really good with a nice variety, but dinner was inconsistent. On Friday and Saturday, the food was great, but during the weekdays, it wasn’t nearly as good, likely due to fewer guests. Another issue was that they stopped bringing out fresh food by 7:40–8:00 PM, even though dinner is supposed to be served until 9:00 PM. One of the biggest disappointments for a 5-star hotel was the heating system. There’s no way to control the temperature in the room—it runs on a central system and was unbearably hot. When we asked about it, we were simply told to open the windows, which is not what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but the hotel doesn’t quite live up to a true 5-star standard in terms of service and amenities.

The hotel was nice, the roads was not clean from the snow.

The room was very large, the view was magnificent, the breakfast was varied and sufficient, and the beds were comfortable. The toilets and showers were well-maintained. There are 4 elevators, which is sufficient. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The spa center is small but adequate. There were even two lifeguards on duty at the small pool. As it is a winter hotel, it does not have air conditioning, so those who do not like the heat in summer should take this into consideration.
