Candlewood Suites Bay City by IHG

Property was clean and appeared to have been updated not long ago. The staff was very friendly and offered suggestions on things to do. I liked the pavilions out back with the tables and chairs. Would have been a great place to bbq for the evening if it hadn’t been so dangled hot.

Clean hotel. Room was recently remodeled. Hotel staff was friendly.

The customer service was lacking. Presently they are remodeling and had three window open facing the parking lot.. The giant rugs are rolled up in the lobby which makes is a big eyesore. The elevators had carpet debris. If it wasn't for the nice spacious room have gone elsewhere

The hotel is a little dated but the room was clean. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was nonsmoking but there was a faint odor of cigarette smoke in the room, especially in the bathroom. We didn’t use the cooktop stove but the big refrigerator was nice. The water was hot in the shower and felt nice. The bed was very comfortable. They took the driver’s license info of both of us staying in the room which was unusual for us. Parking was good and we felt safe staying there. The girl who checked us in was Super friendly and we will stay there again because she made us feel so welcome.
