Sand Hotel by Keahotels

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the stay enjoyable. The biggest downside is the noise on Friday and Saturday nights. If you're staying over the weekend, I recommend requesting a room away from the West Building. There was loud music and drumming that continued until around midnight, making it difficult to relax or get to sleep early. Overall, it was a good stay, but choosing the right room location can make a big difference.

Great little hotel in the heart of Reykjavik. Very helpful staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff here are amazing. They go above and beyond with their help. From luggage storage, to how to work their website this staff was always pleasant to talk to. The room was beautiful and the blackout curtains felt so cozy. I loved my time there. It’s located in the heart of everything it’s close to bus stop 6 so I could go on any adventure (the staff helps you book too if you need it) on my last day I tried the breakfast. I’ve heard great things about their bread from all of my guides. Let me tell you it does not disappoint. If you want a luxury feel this is totally the place to stay.

Perfect location as its right on the main road in downtown and a close walk to city centre too. The room and bathroom were super clean, breakfast was great as well. Shoutout to Roberto for his very useful tips of where to go in Iceland, we found it super helpful.
