An old an hool elegant hotel with excellent friendly and competent staff who make it special staying there. The style of the hotel is sadly sometimes not matched by the elegance of the guests who should try to at least dress appropriately when drinking in the lovely terrrace bar. Comfortable well equipped rooms with excellent room service and scrupulously clean

I booked a small room facing the lake as I was a solo traveler and I got a room with a spacious balcony which was about 6 yoga mat size I would say.
I think I was lucky and it changed my stay perfect. The other rooms have much smaller balconies. I would be slightly dissatisfied if I were going to be in one of the rooms.
Hotel staff were friendly, helpful, flexible and charming. The room dining food was basic. I didn’t include breakfast as i saw some negative reviews about breakfast.
The view from the balcony was special.
