Room was nice and clean, large with fridge, the air conditioner saved me. The breakfast was nice. The only annoying thing is the creaky old stairs that made it seem like someone was coming in the room. They said it was an old house. The bar on the bottom is nice, they called a taxi for me when I needed to leave. The location is walkable but depending on where you are going be aware that there are hills in Coimbria. The university has two options to walk up 125 stairs or to walk along the aquaduct which I think is easier. I took a taxi to the bus station which was about five euros. I felt safe walking day and night. There are a lot of old buildings which look interesting. Would stay here again.

We absolutely adored our stay at this hotel. The staff were outstanding, incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always accommodating. Our room was very comfortable, and the hotel had such a lovely ambience, with beautiful little spaces to sit back, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. The breakfast was also delicious and a perfect way to start the day. We truly loved our experience and would happily return!
