MacLean Guest House

This was the first guest house we have stayed in. There was no food at this location, they told us that upfront. However, even some breakfast rolls would have been appreciated especially paying $ 370.00 per night. We stayed in room #2. If you were standing at the reception desk and looked down the hallway the bed was in full view, so we had to be careful. That being said everything was clean from the front door to our room, and so was our room. I liked being close enough to the city center to walk but not too close. The restaurants and historical things were great. Our daughter hiked the West Highland Way , 96 miles in (5) days (!!!), and it finished there. GREAT!! One more thing they were very accommodating allowing us to checkout at 10 and leave our luggage there for a few more hours as long as there was room in their closet.

Everything thank you. Lovely and clean, well equipped room with a massive bed and large shower and toilet facilities. Fridge as well along with a large tv and lovely smelling toiletries - actually purchased some on line whilst there for when we returned home. Amazing family owners one of whom assisted us following a minor medical issue, thank you.

Actually nothing - breakfast would have been nice but there are plenty of places to go in Fort William so not an issue for us.

Very nice place, exceptionally clean, great location, good communication. Also had nice touches such as coffee and tea in room.

The woman who greeted us was delightful. Very friendly and allowed us to check in a bit early. The location relative to the town is good, as it is only about a ten to fifteen minute walk to the main street of Fort William. The room was small but clean and the bed was fine.

This property is directly above a very busy street. We had constant street noise until well into the night. There is nothing "wrong" with this property except for this issue, so if you book it, as for a room at the back of the building.
