Breakfast

Location was excellent, room was spacious and clean and some of the staff were very helpful

The breakfast was really awful. Apart from some vegetables and a small amount of fruit, everything is processed and packaged. There are no other cereals except processed, no oats or granola and no cold milk. The covered dishes of cooked food are positively frightening with for instance congealing fried eggs mixed up with rice cakes and scrambled eggs mixed up with bacon..... It is run by one overworked member of staff, items are not replaced much and the coffee machine runs out of something all the time. This unfortunate worker also comes in to hoover the tables in the middle of breakfast, making a terrible noise, because the table clothes are made of some sort of velvety material. In a hotel of this calibre they could really do better. There is very good breakfast at the cafe opposite the hotel.
