It was clean and tidy. Bed was great. Manager was very helpful and friendly. It was a great location for us.

My request for a ground floor room, because of my limited mobility, was well-received and resulted in a free 'upgrade' to a higher priced room. Staff were friendly and eager to accommodate.
It's an older style motel with some upgrades. Electrics were still old-fashioned in that the light switch for the bathroom was outside the room in a not-obvious position. The exhaust fan did not operate without bathroom ceiling light being on. Bathroom heating consisted of a fifties-era wall-mounted strip heater.

Clean, comfortable, the heating was good, fridge provided
Friendly manager, very welcoming
The only thing we would suggest is more towel railing or hooks in the ensuite...there is nowhere to place clothing when showering
