Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Calgary Downtown

Bathroom needs upgrade

Bar was not open. It was a Sunday night. The breakfast in the morning was not worth $20 rooms a little bit old but beds and pillows were comfy and we didn’t have a fridge.

Came to Calgary to attend the annual Stampede, and was pleased with the accommodation. Good location, with dining options within easy walking distance, as well as access to transport options. Great breakfast and super staff. Elevators could use a bit of a refurb, but I believe this is in hand. Guest laundry room was out of action, which was a pity , but found a laundromat a short bus ride away. Good value, considering the prices being charged elsewhere in Calgary during Stampede.

It is a good room for the price. It was clean and quiet. The pool is on the 3rd level with no hot tub, but we were able to sit out and chill at night. This hotel is downtown with a garage that is hard to find but my husband got out the car and obtained directions from the hotel. The garage staff acted like they were guarding the cars with their lives! We went to the 360 restaurant and enjoyed the elevated view while drinking wine!
