Good and helpful staff.

Overnight noise by repairman banging made it hard sleep

Clean and spacious room, friendly staff. Ok basic breakfast. Beds a bit soft, but ok. Fridge, microwave, coffee machine, iron and ironing board in room. No hairdryer. Good value for the price.

We have stayed here before, my mother insists we stop in Binghamton whenever I take her to the Bronx to see relatives there. We love checking out the many attractions there, walk the parks, visit the red wolves at the Ross Park Zoo and nearby museums and over the many times we went we found the Red Roof Inn Binghamton North to be the best value for the money. Clean quiet rooms with comfortable beds, a refrigerator, ample, safe, well-lit parking and a decent breakfast. And now they have a car charger which we welcomed since we came with a plug-in electric Pacifica hybrid, we charged it up overnight so our time driving around the city were all on electric. This cost us $10 which would have been a deal if we had a full electric vehicle that can go 100 or more miles on a charge, Like my Volt at home, our rented Pacifica only goes 30 miles on its battery, basically a gallon of gas. I would suggest they offer two charging tiers, a $10 one for full electrics and a $5 one for hybrid electric vehicles and provide a list for the desk staff to work from. Regardless I charged up to get the quiet and peppy drive of electric around town and to show my approval for them having chargers at all. I ended up leaving a nice phone charger in my room by accident and they were kind to call and let me know, they could not ship it to me due to batteries it contains but they are holding it for the next time we drive through and I assured them we will be back.
