Howard Johnson by Wyndham Mystic

The property was in the process of being updated there was minimal disruption in our stay. A few annoying things, the ice machine did not work and the room cards had to be reprogrammed a few times..the painters and workers were very courteous and helpful.. we stay here often during the year .

The hotel is close to everything. It's a no frills, bare bones hotel, But the rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff is always so kind and accommodating. Several restaurants, coffee places, etc within walking distance. The parking lot enterance has seen better days. Definitely needs to be repaved. The diner next door is great. The food is good and it's well priced. They give a discount for those staying at the hotel if you show your key card. The hotel is older, but the beds are comfortable, the rooms are always clean and you can't beat the location. I have stayed here 3x times in the last year. It's my go to hotel. The price is right, the beds are comfy, room is spacious. I don't need much else. It's quiet and convenient.
