Breakwater Inn

This is our second time staying here. It was a wonderful stay.

I stayed here for one night with my wife. We had a private balcony view of the ocean and found the rooms to be clean beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommended. We would stay again!

The room was large and had a huge window overlooking the Kennebunk river and the ocean off to the left. The location truly can't be beat! We ate at the bar outside two nights and the food and drinks were exceptional. The only downsides were there was no dresser to put away your clothes even though the room had plenty of room to accommodate more furniture and the air conditioner was loud. We notified the front desk right after our first night and they said they'd have someone work on it, but we saw no improvement our second night. It was so loud when it cycled on that it could wake us up from a sound sleep and it didn't seem to be working that well. But other than that, it was a gorgeous place to stay!
