Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax - Bedford by IHG

Front desk staff was very helpful

This is my second time staying at this property. I can’t understand how the first thing that greats you is a hot lobby area! Imagine entering the property and inside is hotter than outside. The lobby area and dining area seemingly don’t have air conditioning. Weird for a hotel. Breakfast options were good. Poor ventilation and no air conditioning can make breakfast time unusually hot and uncomfortable. Room was clean, bathroom needs a little maintenance. My sheet was dirty however once I notified front desk, housekeeping came immediately to change the sheets. Safe in the closet didn’t work. Bed was comfortable. Cable channels available.

Good location, close to the highway and a few restaurants. Helpful, friendly staff. The room was nice and clean. The only drawback was the oven didn’t work everyday so a cold breakfast was served. But when the oven worked, the warm breakfast was good.

Close to things, convenient. Everything as expected
