Holiday Inn Salzburg City by IHG

I loved my stay here!!the hotel room was nice, beautifully designed and feels like guests are treated like royalties , and very cozy rooms! The hotel is 15 minute walk to the old town and 15 min walk to the major train station. which was great because it allowed me to have some physical activity.the surrounding area is quiet which i loved the most. The staff were amazing ,from Veronika at the front desk, kitchen staff and to the cleaners on 6th floor; they’re kind ,respectful, and holiday inn must be lucky to have all of them!! Loved this hotel!!

The staff was amazing. Lobby restaurant very nice and offered a nice breakfast. The rooms look very dated and run down. Although very clean, especially the bathroom. Balcony was disappointing as it is shared with other renters who can smoke. Heat and air conditioning did not work well and had to sleep with window open all night. Hotel was very quiet on the side away from street. Location was a 15 minute walk to Mirabell Palace and gardens which was nice.

Great stay, with good breakfast and close to bus stops.

Old room, which had water damage spots in the bathroom ceiling and mould stains in the shower
