Staff was great! Minor details made the stay less than perfect. AC in my room would turn off after a few hours, carpet

We arrived 45min before the 2pm check in, exhausted and tired. Staff charged us 10pounds per room for early check in!!!
Then said they would charge 10pounds and we can hang out together in 1 room until 2pm. Then return to reception to get access to the other room.
Then gave us immediate access to both rooms and charged us 10 pounds!!!
Really!

Everything was perfect for the wind down to my trip before I took the long journey home to the West country by Car. The spa amenities were excellent. The staff were helpful and polite. The restaurant was surprisingly excellent also. All this at a very reasonable price And with easy access to the airport.
