Great stay

Best service we have ever received from staff. Every single member of staff we encountered at the hotel was incredibly polite, kind and extremely helpful. Mia at the front desk was particularly helpful & super lovely, as was the restaurant manager. We felt so incredibly welcome and well looked after throughout our stay, despite having some issues with our booking through Expedia. The team swiftly and generously resolved these problems, which frankly, were not even their fault. We ordered takeout for dinner at quite a late hour, and the night shift manager brought us plates and cutlery without us even asking. This is just one of many examples of the good service we received. The hotel grounds and building are absolutely stunning, as was the lunch. Definitely recommend going for a walk through the grounds and the woodland area at the back. The room we stayed in was little dated, particularly the bathroom which was a bit unbecoming but we didn’t mind this for the price. Thank you for making our visit so special.

The reception staff were very welcoming and explained when and where meals would be taken. The room was clean and bright and the on suite was good but I would have prefered a walk in shower instead of a bath and shower. We went down to the bar and had a drink and then had a walk around the large grounds which was very pleasant. At dinner the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I had the nicest starter I have ever had Mediteranian vegetable and Goats Cheese tart and the chicken main was very tasty and juicy. The best meal out I have had in ages. There was a lot of choice for breakfast I liked that you could serve yourself I would certainly use this hotel again.
