Travelodge by Wyndham Golden Sportsman Lodge

Room was clean, well appointed, apparently recently remodeled? Grounds are old but well maintained.

The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The best part was the location—McDonald’s, Dairy Queen, and Tim Hortons were all within walking distance. The breakfast was quite good, with scrambled eggs, a selection of breads, muffins, cereals, juice, and coffee. They also had a pancake machine, but unfortunately, it wasn’t working during our stay. The breakfast area is a little small, so it’s better to arrive early. Overall, we had a very good and comfortable stay. It was great value for the money, and I would definitely recommend this place.

The beds are comfy

We stayed 5 nights in a room with kitchenette. Everything was clean and tidy. The bath/shower was good, with almost instant hot water in bathroom and kitchen. The motel is very well placed for visiting Yoho National Park and other beautiful sights/hikes in the area. Best of all were the really excellent staff. They were very welcoming and friendly. Big shout out to the gentleman we dealt with at the end of our stay - so helpful and courteous. Thank you for a great stay. 😀
