Stayed at Santa Caterina for 2 nights when visiting Siena in May 2026. The hotel is conveniently located just outside of the city walls (Porta Romana) with easy 15-20 min walk to the Duomo and all other major landmarks. We didn't pay enough attention about requesting the parking before the arrival and were very frustrated at ourselves (good luck with finding the parking spot outside of the ZTL), but the gentleman at reception desk saved us by finding the spot in their very limited parking lot. We are very grateful! The breakfast was delicious, and the view from the hotel garden was magnificent, all way down to Monte Amiata 70 km to the south! Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The garden was beautiful and we enjoyed our coffee out there and our wine in the evenings. It is very close to the enchanting town with shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful.

Lovely property, love being able to relax in their scenic courtyard (with bar service!) Nice breakfast included. Staff all very friendly and professional. Having an elevator was good. Just make sure when booking your room, you know whether or not the bedroom is upstairs from the bathroom.
