Hotel Resslirytti

The area had a neighborhood feel to it and the property was very close to many tram stops. The SBB train station was less than 10 minutes away.

The elevator stops on a landing rather than on the floor, and I had to walk up around 8 steps with luggage—which I found odd in an architectural sense. All else was fine.

Very easy check in, easy check out. The bed was comfy (they seem really proud of these beds). Clean. Right next to tram and bus. Very easy to get there from Basel SBB and get to Basel Bad Bf (being on the tram between the two).

The room was way too warm. Maybe I had bad luck and it had been a warm day in Basel, I assumed October was finally fall and it wouldn't matter that there's no AC. I opened the windows and ran the fan for a good half hour and it didn't really cool down enough to sleep well, but it was too loud to keep the window open through the night. I also don't sleep so well under a constant fan. The floors transfer all sound, if anyone above you is up walking around, you will hear them like elephants.

Great location, good sized rooms comfortable beds and Chris on reception was fantastic, super helpful , friendly and proffesional. 5 star service!

Very conveniently located, very clean

Rude attitude at the reception
