Bellariva B&B e Relax

Wonderful place to stay in Monopoli, specifically as a foreigner! My girlfriend and I traveled here for a wedding. We were not familiar with the region or city and do not speak italian but staying at Bellariva made the entire experience easy and luxurious. The bedroom and bathroom amenities were clean and of high quality. The air conditioning worked perfectly which was very important for us given that we stayed in early July when temperatures reached up to 95F. Our hosts also made our local travel easy for us by booking a private taxi both in advace as well as at a very last minue need when Uber was not working for us. Some things to note are that the room requires a 25euro per day cleaning fee at check in and does not permit unregistered guests to enter per city and police ordinance. These things are very fair and understandable to us but worth mentioning depending of travel plans. We recommend staying here to travelers from around the world and are very grateful for to hosts being so kind and welcoming to us.

The B&B was very nice right on the beach and great accessibility

Nice Rooms and in good condition. Couple things that I don't like: They ask for €20 per day to park, when we ask about free parking they act as if they don't know about any, but locals tell us the road directly next to the hotel is free parking. I refuse to believe the hotel don't know that and feels like they play dumb in order to get you to pay their €20 per day fee. Parked on the road for 4 nights, didn't get any tickets. There is also a mandatory €10 per day cleaning fee. 1) that should be included in the price you pay for the room, and 2) I don't need my room cleaned everyday so it shouldn't be mandatory.

The hotel has a fantastic location with a view over the sea. The room was very large and nice, with a good bed. One thing that I think brings this place a bit down is that check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out is at 10 a.m.
