It has a lovely little terrace and inside space where you can sit a relax and have a drink and bite to eat any time of day. The space, inclding the bathroom is big for a Ibis, the staff really nice and helpful. It is not exactly near the town but we did walk and it is very close to the train station so very handy if you are coming in and out of town that way.
I hope this is more helpful than complaining because none of it was a big issue: The car park is quite small so definitely do book if you want to use that, it is 20€ per night extra. The breakfast areas are very busy but we did go around 9, maybe better to go earlier, it is a decent and varied breakfast though and included. No kettle in the room, probably normal for an Ibis.

A modern, comfortable hotel just 5 mins walk from the station so we could catch our early TGV next morning. Friendly staff who took our bags early, a good sized room with storage, a comfortable bed, blackout curtains, aircon and a good shower with soft towels and nice shower gel. Breakfast was included for a good price and was reasonable. Everything we needed at good value for money!
Whilst close to the station the area is in the midst of rebuilding work and isn’t the nicest part of Bordeaux to walk on a night but trams are available close by and we heard no noise.
