Beautifully presented, clean, warm and welcoming staff. Incredibly comfortable beds and lovely rooms. Location good to walk up to centre for restaurants etc and good location to walk from. Lovely village / town and would fully recommend

Hayley and her team run a great BB. Breakfast is excellent and everything as good when we stayed some years back. The team were more than happy to add extras on if you very hungry. But the serves are top quality as are the ingredients and very substantial.
Plenty of car parking at Diamond lodge, bus stop to Bowness-on-Windermere out the front . Quick walk to Ambleside centre and other great walks nearby. The place is spotless and highly recommended.

We have stayed here previously so knew what to expect
We had the same room which has beautiful views,but does have the road noise.
Lovely fluffy towels
Water is hot and plentiful, with amazing pressure
Breakfast is good, Not too many choices but plenty of them .
The fridge in the room was a great addition and didn't hum like many mini fridges. Water provided daily.

Pillows could do with replacing, they were a little hard, and the softer ones just mushy.

The lakes are relaxing and the staff here. were very polite and helpful.
