Casa Azzopardi Suites

Perfectly situated for exploration of Rabat and Mdina with very nice places to eat nearby. Johnny who manages the premises was extremely helpful and attentive. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Everything was good.

Very large apartment right where Rabat meets Mdina. The room is very comfortable and there are parts of it we didn't even use because there was that much space. The air conditioner was powerful and there was plenty of hot water. It is located steps away from a free 24/7 parking lot. The location provides easy access to both cities. Although we turned in early, we would have been comfortable walking around the neighborhood at any time.

There are a couple of cafes next door that can get loud with conversations well into the evening. They aren't night clubs so you won't have to deal with loud music. It's a nice vibe, and nothing that ear plugs can't solve.

The location is perfect. Free parking in a lot about 200 feet away. Johnny was very accommodating. The free breakfast at Ta’Doni next door was an unexpected delight. Get the Balbuljata. It’s really good. We also had our own galerija!

loved the room, it is done so beautifully and there's loads of space around. There is a kitchen area, which is fully equipped. I did not expect that (bonus). The kitchen has a double electric hob, kettle, toaster, fridge with a small freezer section. There's plates, cups, glasses, crockery, cutlery, anything you need. Johnny, the owner, is amazing. We arrived on a public holiday and were struggling to find a parking spot in the area. He got us to pull up outside the house, he jumped in and taken us to a very convenient AND free parking area, where we found a spot every day (for a week). We had a hire car, so we were out and about every day. The house is literally on the main street, so it can get noisy, but that's the beauty of a town center. You are right in the middle of what's going on. There's loads of cafes and restaurants on that road. At the end, which is only about 50-100 meters away is a 24 hour eatery/bar. It's super convenient if you feel like a midnight stroll and you want to have a snack or a drink. Overall the suite was amazing. The bed was comfy, the shower always had hot water and plenty of power. The little balcony is very cute, I have spent a few evenings sitting outside with a glass of wine and my book. The town is gorgeous, you cannot get enough of the buildings and the quirky little streets. Mdina is literally a 5 minute walk and it is stunning. The bus stops are 1 minute walk away. I cannot comment on their regularity, because we had a car, but we have seen plenty of them around. The breakfast is not in the building, it is at the small cafe next door. Johnny provides you with the vouchers, which you take with you and you can choose from the options that they have on their breakfast menu. I think there are about 5 or 6 options. My favourite was egg on sourdough toast with smashed avocado, chilies and honey. For drinks they give you fresh orange juice and choice of tea of coffee.
