We spend every Fourth of July in the Outer Banks, and this was hands down our favorite place we've stayed! It was the perfect cottage for our family of five (plus our Golden Retriever).The cottage was cozy, spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and had everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach. One of our favorite parts was the easy beach access, which made trips back and forth with three kids and our dog so simple. We also loved being just minutes from our favorite Outer Banks restaurant, Tortuga's Lie. We usually rent a larger home with a pool, so we were a little nervous we'd miss that amenity—but honestly, we didn't miss it one bit! We had perfect beach weather all week, and the cottage was within walking distance of mini golf, great restaurants, and ice cream, making it an ideal location for our family.As an added bonus, it had the best view of the Fourth of July fireworks show we've ever had in all our years coming to the Outer Banks. It made an already special tradition even more memorable.We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. You can tell they truly care about their guests' experience.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, family-friendly place to enjoy the Outer Banks!

The beach access is amazing the back deck is very comfortable. The owner fixed the outside shower while we were there and the hose situation so she was a delight and even indicated she would enlarge the mail shower in the hose. Loved the cottage

Perfect little cottage for our Nags Head week!

The cottage was very clean! We loved the vintage beach vibes and traditional cedar siding. The location is PERFECT! Excellent proximity to parks, restaurants, and shopping. The kids loved having their own private path to the beach. The hammock was also a HUGE hit! We appreciate that this was a dog-friendly rental. We were able to bring our doodle pup along for her first beach trip. We are NC natives and live close enough for a day trip but having the whole week to enjoy the area without rushing home was AMAZING! There are so many historic sites and nature trails nearby. We enjoyed sharing the rich history of our Outer Banks with our kids. We truly loved every second and look forward to returning soon!
