Winwood Ella

Wow! What a unique hotel this is. Lal (the owner and designer) and his carpenter are to be commended for creating an ECO masterpiece in the hills above Ella. Some design features appear quite wacky but are extremely practical when in use. Breakfast was delicious, served on our own veranda. Extremely good value for money.

The room was absolutely charming, with beautiful wooden details throughout. It was very clean, and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. The balcony was wonderful, overlooking the trees with the relaxing sound of birds. Breakfast was exceptional. The host and his lovely wife welcomed us warmly, offered us a refreshing cold juice on arrival, and even gave us a kind farewell. The host was also very knowledgeable and genuinely enjoyable to talk to.

A wonderful stay at a truly special B&B Winwood Ella is a unique and charming B&B, beautifully built with wood and surrounded by nature. Everything is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. We stayed in a spacious and comfortable family room for four. The breakfast was generous and delicious, served on our private terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding nature. What really made our stay special was the lovely family who runs the B&B. They were incredibly kind and attentive. Our daughter accidentally left her sneakers behind, and they not only contacted us but kindly mailed them to our next destination. Such a thoughtful gesture! We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend Winwood Ella. We would happily come back!
