River Resort was perfect for a girls weekend with my daughters. Clean & beautifully decorated. The backyard is stunning. Nearby to Mystic, a couple of beach spots, and Connecticut College which is beautiful to stroll through (my daughter is a professor there in the fall!!).We will be back:)

We stayed at the River Resort for a weekend to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was perfect! Right on the river with everything you could want or need to enjoy waterfront living - colorful rocking chairs which we used to watch the sun rise over the river, dock that we used to peek at a few fish swimming around, fire pit to warm us at night, and a hot tub to relax in after a day of exploring the area. The house itself had everything we needed from linens and kitchen supplies, to the special extras like a whole house speaker system to enjoy your music to while hanging out! We did not want for anything during this stay and must have said “wow, they thought of everything” a hundred times while there. Mark and Amy have a beautiful home and are great hosts. Highly encourage a stay there!

Hosts were responsive, place is very cool. Will likely stay there again.

The property was exactly as described. Very quiet and beautiful. Located in a central area for sightseeing and discovering history of Niantic. Lovely and picturesque ❤️
