The room and building were really cool and the bath was perfect and relaxing. Staff were very nice, easy to find perfectly central and walking distance to everything we wanted to do.

Room was so hot without air con but too cold with the AC. Weird smell In the room and not much space in the bedroom.

The property was amazing! We were celebrating our anniversary so booked the Stella Solarium Room and it had so much character & provided a wonderful atmosphere.

Nothing - we had a perfect stay.

The hotel itself is quirky and quite different compared to other hotels. The location being in the centre is fabulous and there is a lot on your doorstep. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even called us when our room was ready.

Saying the location for things on your doorstep comes with a downside. It is next door but one to a 24hour McDonalds where a lot of people got there McDonald’s and stayed on the street corner gossiping, laughing, joking and clearly still wanting to enjoy their night out. This went on until 4am and you can hear it very clearly from the bedroom so it was the worst night sleep we have had in a hotel. Then just before 7am the council decided to come and take down scaffolding being loud, banging talking and shouting at one another so again this woke us up. It was not a peaceful night sleep but it wasn’t the hotel‘s fault. It was everything outside and the windows clearly not being soundproof.
