Aurora apartments

Our apartment (5A) was spacious and very clean. Little things like soap, shower gel, washing powder, dishwasher tabs, coffee, sugar, olive oil etc were provided which was a nice surprise. The pool area is beautiful with lots of space to relax. It’s a 10 minute walk to the closest beach and about 30 minutes walk to the downtown area of Chania. If you don’t want to walk I would recommend hiring a car - there is a lot of free on street parking right in front of the apartments.

When we arrived the internet didn’t work and the instructions to login to the WiFi network were wrong. I sent a WhatsApp message to a UK telephone number as per instructions in the apartment but still have had no reply. I phone a the Greek local number that was listed but this was out of service and also emailed….. never got an answer from anyone. The next day the internet came back on but the following day it was off again….. it was then slow and fairly stable for the rest of the stay but worring that there was no communication from the contacts if there had been other issues! The apartment is in a bit of a rundown area with a large new construction overlooking the pool and there are old and unfinished buildings on the busy road.

Everything was brilliant. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Twice we received little pastry treats from reception. Which was so nice and unexpected. The apartment was spotless and cleaned for us twice a week during our two week stay. Loved our time there. Would defo recommend these apartments and would stay here again if we come back to Chania.

This property was exactly as advertised- spacious, clean with a lovely pool area. Mini market, coffee shop and bus stop a short walk.

Very modern spacious apartment that we stayed in. Very clean and comfortable.

Bit of a walk to the old town for some I would think especially in the hot weather as it’s just over a mile or so and the pavements are dodgy. The pool area is really nice and generally quiet but it was noticeable that some people left little bits of rubbish behind that didn’t seem to get removed.
