This house is in a great location in North Topsail, with easy beach access right across the road and plenty of parking. It is situated very nicely with both ocean and sound views. The rooms and bathrooms are nice, and the beds are comfortable. We liked that there were mostly king-sized beds. All the rooms were very clean. The pool is really nice, and I believe it is a salt-water pool which my family prefers over chlorine. The porches are all wonderful, with a good number of chairs. Plenty of gathering spaces. We really appreciated the large kitchen table and center island. The reasons I rated this 4 stars are the quality of the kitchen equipment, condition of the grill, and high-pitched ringing coming from the elevator--all things that can be fixed. The owners are very responsive to any queries or issues. We were hoping to cook a lot, but the stove top was cracked and the non-stick pans were scratched and had lost their non-stick qualities. Ideally these houses would have good-quality stoves and pots and pans, and renters would know how to use them and treat them right. Still a great house and we would definitely rent this house again!

We had a wonderful time. Beautiful property and the location was perfect.

The only place to stay when visiting Sneads Ferry! Everything from house location to property manager/owner communication to well-organized housing manual was superb. We offer our greatest endorsement. Our family will definitely be back.-Shannon Christiansen Seare

The house and location were wonderful and perfect for catching sunrise and sunset and easy walk to the beach. The cleanliness of the property needed more attention. It did not appear to be professionally cleaned. The hot tub, bathrooms and showers had hair in them that was not ours. The dishes were not properly cleaned and the refrigerator smelled of rotten shrimp so much our food smelled. The bunk beds were insanely wobbly and we considered unsafe for our children to sleep on which was one of the reasons why we booked so that was disappointing. The house was wonderful but could use more attention to detail for cleanliness at the price point.
