THERETRA PEFKI Seaside

We got a warm welcome from the owner when we arrived. The communication was really good prior to our check in and the owner met us outside. The location is great and just a 5 minute walk to all of the restaurants and bars in pefkos. The beach is about a 2 minute walk in the opposite direction and a lovely beach. It was great to have a private pool and great for watching the thunder storms on the balcony. Peaceful location too. Minibar was stocked and free of charge which was a lovely gesture. We enjoyed our stay here

There were some rips and stains on the sunloungers outside which can easily be fixed. It's nice that they provide some plates but the only place to wash them is in the bathroom sink next to the toilet. Maybe a communal sink room would be a good option to wash coffee cups and breakfast plates if it's not possible to have a kitchen sink in the room. Or the other option would be to just do room only and not provide plates and cutlery. The bed was lovely and soft but we think a bit too soft with the thick mattress topper. Lovely idea but not great for the back. A parasol for the terrace would be great as no shade midday until 4pm. We did have an enjoyable stay though.

So comfortable. Excellent location. The bed was amazing and the pillows were brilliant. Which seems odd to single out, but I do need a good pillow! The fittings in the room were all of great quality and the room is very spacious. Great location if Plakia beacb is your favourite. Very close to the Main Street of Pefkos as well. Very friendly host and great communications . Also nice to have some free bits and pieces in the fridge including cocktails! Great sunset views from balcony.

A few things could have made it a 10. There is a lack of drying facilities which was annoying. Also it’s odd as it’s not self catering, but not really a hotel. There is crockery provided but no other ‘self catering’ facilities. The fridge is a wee bit small to hold much. The design of the coffee table on the balcony made it impossible to put even a bowl or two of aperitivo nibbles on it with drinks. Little things.

Clean, comfortable. Location was great.

Shower drain didn’t work. Shower flooding the full bathroom and not draining meant showers sub 2 mins.
