Uros TITIKAKA the Best lodge

Everything was very clean, and the room was very beautifully designed. Also the heating was a very comfortable asset.

Since you're on an artificial island, you're kind of a "hostage" of the lodge. This means you eat their food and you do their tours. They were great though, so nothing to complain about, but just for you to know that you won't have many options.

El hecho que no halla desagüe en los baños, má es comprensible, ya que se encuentra en medio del lago.

This is a highly unique property that allows you to experience a very different lifestyle - that of the people of the Uros islands. If you are after a bit of an adventure and want to meet a lovely, hospitable family, then this is a great place to try for a night.

I didn't realise that when the listing mentioned a restaurant, a bar, ensuite bathroom that this property doesn't operate in the same way as a conventional hotel or lodge. The toilet is a composting one and you are served meals and drinks in your room because, being a floating island, there is no space for these facilities. Partly it is my fault for not realising that this is a highly unique experience which doesn't really fit well in the regular Booking.com listings and therefore it isn't that clear what you are actually going to experience.
