Hub Tata Guesthouse

We loved our stay at HuB Tata, which was a very calm and peaceful place to stay at this time of year. The staff were all sweet, friendly and happy to help. We did the sambal making course with them, in the lovely seating area looking over the lake, which is good value as you get tasty fried fish and vegetables/tofu (to have with the gado gado) to enjoy what you've made! It is only a few minutes to ten minutes walk to lots of different options of places to walk for dinner in the evening. The cafe at the guesthouse itself is gorgeously set, with a great view looking over the bay and plants decorating the room. We were very happy with our room, which had an incredible view over the lake and bay - where we could see the sun setting behind the mountains. It was also great to have a dock where we could swim from, just beneath our rooms, and this was such a quiet and peaceful spot with usually only the birds and fish for company :) We would really recommend for a relaxing stay in Lake Toba. Thank you for our stay!

This is not the fault of the property but just to be aware :). I had some crackers in my bag and we had a parade of ants come to visit. They soon cleared when we removed these from the room but please be aware to make sure any snacks are very well sealed!

Quiet and peaceful boutique accommodation. Rooms were clean and cosy, simply but tastefully designed. Staff were very friendly.

Shower stays in my opinion to short hot.

Super friendly staff, amazing views, delicious food. Room was simple but comfy.

Common area closes at 7. Would be nice to spend the evening there with drinks and food. But there are a lot of other optiosn nearby for that!
