Muy limpio y cómodo, además de tranquilo, tiene todo lo necesario, la cocina bien equipada, el baño bien limpio, las camas cómodas y cobijas calientes. Guarda equipaje con llave. El lugar tiene plantas y muy bonito adornado, el costo es accesible. Buen trato y lugar seguro y fácil de moverse al centro. Definitivamente me volvería a quedar. Si vas en grupo está súper bien.

I like my entire stay at Tierra Alta, the owner and staff are so nice and very helpful, room is clean and spacious, plenty of free tea bag in the kitchen, free washing machine to use, highly recommend to stay here

The best hostel I’ve stayed at! Tierra Alta is, without a doubt, the best hostel with dormitory-style accommodation I have ever stayed in. The location is excellent — just a 5-minute walk from the town centre, which makes it very convenient for exploring San Cristóbal. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming and always available to help. The cleanliness is impeccable, and I would especially like to highlight the bathrooms and showers, which were spotless and very well maintained. The hostel itself is a beautiful old house that has been lovingly restored with great taste. I particularly loved the way they have preserved its character while filling the spaces with beautiful plants, creating a very welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. But what really made my stay special was the kindness and care of the staff. I missed my bus from Juchitán to San Cristóbal and had to wait for the next one, which meant I wouldn’t arrive until very late at night. I called the hostel to let them know, and they were incredibly understanding and kept checking on me until I finally arrived at almost 2 a.m. A very special thank you to José, who stayed attentive and made sure everything was okay until I arrived. That level of care and hospitality is something I truly appreciated. I highly recommend Tierra Alta. A beautiful place, wonderful staff and exceptional hospitality. I would definitely stay here again! ❤️
