The Swan Inn

Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful staff. Good selection of beers, great food including breakfast! Comfortable well appointed bedrooms. Four of us were walking the South Downs Way and stayed over, would definitely return just for a few days in Midhurst.

Excellent place to stay especially for Goodwood which is a short but lovely drive away. Nice comfortable room and good facilities with the bonus of a great pub with food also! Highly recommend.

It's location, its historic character and friendly staff when they were not busy - then they were rather unsmiling and a tad curt! Great breakfasts.

We tried to get an evening meal on the evening, but they couldn't accommodate us as booked up. It would have been good practice to have asked us on arrival but they didn't and were rather curt when we tried to get a table later. We found a delightful Italian restaurant instead. The plastic flowers everywhere rather than real ones rather let the side down and took away from the historic feel. Thought the room rate was way over priced. Enjoyable stay.
